Symposium of IP Managers
On November 21st, Stefan Stefaniak, CEO of Swisscoding Group, spoke at the IP Managers Symposium. This profession, whose creation was supported by Paianet, his former consulting company, has become an integral part of clinics and hospitals in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
Following the presentation by Professor karl schaller (HUG), Stefan shared his view on the evolution of IP Management in Switzerland.
He highlighted two key areas:
- Automated medical coding using AI, which now allows IP Managers to spend less time on this task.
- A focus on length-of-stay management, a critical priority for hospitals due to its financial impact.
A video demo showcased how AI simplifies medical coding, providing IP Managers with effective IT support.
