We’re delighted to welcome Regina Hoffmeister, who recently joined the Swisscoding team to strengthen our coding presence in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

Regina first trained as a medical records specialist in Germany before turning to medical coding in Switzerland after completing several internships.
She completed her medical coding training at the Cantonal Hospital of St. Gallen, where she worked for 15 years and gained extensive experience across various coding fields.
Holder of the Swiss Federal Diploma, she later joined the Cantonal Hospital of Winterthur, where she deepened her knowledge of TARPSY and ST Reha, before becoming part of Swisscoding.

Curious and passionate, Regina enjoys the diversity of approaches she has observed in different Swiss hospitals and continues to learn with great enthusiasm.
She speaks German and English.

Regina lives in the countryside in Toggenburg with her family, her sheltie, and a few chickens. A true nature lover, she also enjoys traveling with her family.
In stressful situations, she strives to stay calm and “breathe prana” —a skill she attributes to her long-standing yoga practice.
