We are pleased to introduce Alfred Bollinger, who joined Swisscoding in September 2024 as a Medical Coding Specialist with a federal certificate and a member of the expert board.

Alfred brings invaluable expertise after leading the coding department at the University Hospital of Zürich for 24 years. His background in surgery and his key role in introducing ICD-10 and CHOP coding in Switzerland make him a true authority in the field.
His mission at Swisscoding? Supporting the expansion in the German-speaking region with his expertise and professional network.

A true polyglot, he speaks German, English, Italian, French, and some Spanish .
When not immersed in medical classifications, Alfred enjoys sailing on Lake Neuchâtel in summer and spending the colder months in his new winter home… under the Caribbean sun!
