Meet the Team Sébastien
We are excited to introduce Sébastien Romero, who joined Swisscoding on September 15, 2024, as Medical Advisor – Medizincontrolling, before becoming a Physician in Medizincontrolling in October 2024.
His main role? Evaluating whether AI can accurately analyze medical records by designing and refining tailored prompts. He also supports our medical coders by addressing complex medical questions.
A graduate in medicine from the University of Geneva, Sébastien furthered his education with training in coding (Python) and gained solid experience in emergency care as a medical regulator at Genève Médecins. He also collaborated with EVALAB at the Geneva University Hospitals, specializing in technological innovation and user testing.
Outside of work, he is ranked 77th in tennis and 18th in padel in Switzerland, drawing energy from sports and competition.
